Regional Communications and Visibility Officer

Key Responsibilities
The Communications and Visibility Officer will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of communications and visibility activities across the regional ECD portfolio. The role will work closely with country teams, regional colleagues, partners, and external service providers to strengthen storytelling, visibility, content management, and communications products that showcase program impact, learning, and achievements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, International Development or a related field; previous experience in an NGO in a similar role is a plus.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in communications, media, public relations, storytelling, journalism, or related fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic is required required.
- Strong storytelling and case study writing and editing skills, with the ability to identify strong stories and adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Experience collecting and developing human-interest stories, interviews and beneficiary testimonials.
- Experience coordinating communications activities across multiple stakeholders and locations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with photography, videography and content management processes; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with, Brandfolder, Box, SharePoint or similar content management systems.
- Experience in humanitarian, development, education or early childhood development programs is highly desirable.
- Work-related travel within the MENA region (Jordan, Lebanon, Syria), up to 30%, is expected.
- Experience working with humanitarian, development, education, early childhood development, or donor-funded programs.
- Experience coordinating communications activities across multiple countries or regional programs is highly desirable.
- Photography, videography, content editing, or multimedia production experience is an asset.
Working Conditions

- Significant travel across MENA required
- Position is based in Amman, Jordan or Beirut, Lebanon
