Minimum Requirements
- Repeated technical SEO impact at scale - a strong track record of personally leading complex technical SEO initiatives across large websites or multi-domain portfolios, with clear evidence of measurable organic or commercial outcomes.
- Exceptional technical SEO depth and judgement - expert knowledge across crawling, rendering, indexation, architecture, internal linking, canonicalisation, international SEO, migrations, structured data, JavaScript SEO, log-file analysis and web performance, with the judgement to separate material opportunities from technical hygiene.
- Hands-on coding, AI and automation capability - comfortable writing code and independently building tools, diagnostics, monitoring or automated workflows using APIs and large datasets, with examples of solutions that have been deployed and adopted by others.
- Commercial and strategic thinking - able to translate complex technical findings into priorities based on expected value, risk, effort, confidence and opportunity cost, connecting technical decisions to organic and commercial outcomes.
- Principal-level influence - experienced in influencing Product, Engineering and senior stakeholders without direct authority, challenging constructively and communicating complex technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A builder's mindset - intellectually curious, technically self-sufficient and comfortable remaining deeply hands-on while creating systems, standards and capabilities that increase the impact of teams beyond your own individual contribution.
