About the Organisation
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist (Vendor Manager) to oversee critical third-party providers supporting investment operations. This role is responsible for strategic vendor governance, market data oversight, commercial management, risk and compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working across business, technology and operational teams, you will help ensure vendor performance, regulatory compliance, cost optimisation and operational excellence across Perpetual Wealth Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience.
- Extensive experience in asset management operations, wealth operations, vendor management, market data management and procurement environments.
- Strong expertise in vendor governance, senior stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship management and commercial negotiations.
- Experience managing market data vendors, licensing compliance, contract renewals, budgeting and cost management initiatives.
- Sound understanding of operational risk frameworks, audit requirements and Australian regulatory environments.
- Highly developed communication, analytical, problem-solving and influencing skills, with the ability to operate across complex stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead governance and relationship management for key outsourced providers, including custodians, fund administrators, registry providers and wrap platform partners.
- Manage market data vendors including FactSet, Bloomberg and other providers, overseeing licensing, entitlements, data quality and cost optimisation.
- Drive commercial outcomes through contract management, renewals, fee reviews, vendor negotiations, budgeting and business case development.
- Monitor vendor performance against service levels, manage incidents and remediation activities, and support change initiatives across outsourced services.
- Provide oversight of vendor risk, controls, audit readiness and regulatory compliance, including third-party risk management and vendor reporting.
- Deliver executive reporting, performance scorecards and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability and service quality.
