Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as a Heat Exchanger Development Engineering Intern, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:
What we would love to see from you:
- Design of a test bench for fluidic componentsConcept creation and trade-offs
- P&ID (piping and instrumentation diagram)
- CAD design
- Component choice and procurement
- DAQ (data acquisition system) support
- Commission of the bench
- Operation of the bench
- Data post-processing and interpretation
- Documentation and onboarding of the team
- Finished Bachelor's degree or extensive progress in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field
- Experience with CAD Software (Siemens NX, CATIA, or similar) including assemblies
- Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics (including compressible flow)
- Experience in test bench design and operation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills and autonomy
- Proficiency in English is a must, German is an asset
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or significant progress in a relevant engineering field and must be comfortable with relocation to Germany.
