German Doctors e.V. seeks an experienced trainer for a 2-day anti-corruption training session for partner organizations in Kenya and Somalia.

About the Organisation

German Doctors e.V. (GD) is a humanitarian, non-governmental organization (NGO) that works to promote the right to health for all people especially in underserved regions across the globe - through direct treatment, training, awareness, deployment of volunteer medical professionals and humanitarian aid. We are committed to promoting human dignity, delivering high-quality healthcare, and training, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, religion, or political affiliation.

Since 1997, GD has been working in partnerships with different local NGOs in Kenya and since 2022 GD has been working in partnerships with different local NGOs in Somalia.

GD is seeking an experienced trainer to design and deliver an anti-corruption training for our partner organizations in Kenya and Somalia (with HQ in Kenya).

Minimum Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the anti-corruption & compliance field
  • Proven experience working with (I)NGOs and local partner organizations
  • Experience in delivering interactive and participatory trainings

Working Conditions

  • Raise awareness of corruption risks in NGO settings and in the host countries;
  • Provide foundational and practical knowledge of anti-corruption principles and compliance;
  • Strengthen participants’ ability to prevent, detect, and respond to fraud and corruption risks;
  • Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct within partner organizations.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates must have experience in anti-corruption compliance and working with NGOs, and will conduct in-person training sessions in Nairobi.
