Role Summary
Join Marshmallow as a Senior Fraud Intelligence Analyst in London, where you'll combat fraud in a growing team focused on innovative solutions.
Minimum Requirements
##
- You think like an investigator: you see connections others miss, and when something doesn't add up, you dig until you understand the full picture
- You're confident making subjective judgements under uncertainty - fraud investigation rarely gives you a clean answer, and you're comfortable with that
- You can operate at both the granular level (reviewing individual policies, documents, and data points) and the strategic level (spotting trends, proposing new detection approaches, challenging existing assumptions)
- You communicate clearly and confidently - you'll need to explain complex fraud cases to stakeholders across the business and to external bodies
- You're motivated by impact: removing bad actors from the book, protecting genuine customers, and building something that didn't exist before
- Experience investigating insurance fraud - ideally 2+ years in a fraud intelligence, counter-fraud, or special investigations role
- Demonstrable experience identifying and disrupting fraud networks, not just reviewing individual policies
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data - SQL experience is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with industry fraud data sources: IFB, CIFAS or equivalent
- Experience producing intelligence reports and working with external fraud bodies
- Comfort with AI tools and an appetite to use them — we AI tools extensively and expect this to grow
Working Conditions
- Bonus scheme designed to reward high performance
- Private medical insurance with Vitality, mental health support with Oliva
- Personal learning budget and 2 dedicated L&D days a year
- Monthly flexible benefits budget to spend as you choose
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 4 weeks Work From Anywhere per year
