Minimum Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a professional engineer in Papua New Guinea, is desirable.
  • Experience delivering infrastructure projects in Papua New Guinea or comparable Pacific or developing-country environments.
  • Experience with institutional, government, justice, corrections, police or other public infrastructure.
  • Experience working on donor-funded infrastructure programs, particularly Australian Government-funded programs.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards and relevant Papua New Guinea building and construction standards.
  • Experience working with geographically remote construction projects and managing associated logistical and security constraints.
