Key Responsibilities
In your role as HiL Software Developer, you will:
- Design, implement, and test C++-based software models for Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing of Nyx avionics systems
- Develop and maintain software tooling supporting simulation and test activities
- Integrate software models into National Instruments hardware infrastructures
- Collaborate with GNC, Flight Software, Avionics, and Mission Operations teams to ensure the required level of model fidelity
- Support and participate in verification and validation test campaigns
- Contribute to debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of simulation and test environments
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to software models, test setups, and development processes
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python and C/C++
- Experience in software development for simulation, testing, or embedded systems
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and simulation tools
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, drive initiatives, and deliver in a high-paced environment
- Experience with LabVIEW
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing environments
- Familiarity with National Instruments hardware and software ecosystems
- Experience with Bazel
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build systems
- Knowledge of aerospace, avionics, or space systems development environments
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields and proficiency in programming languages like C++ and Python.
