Role Summary
Join Dignity as a Senior Support Worker in Carramar, Australia, to lead a team supporting individuals at risk of homelessness.
Key Responsibilities
- Empower people who are experiencing homelessness
- Act as a Team Leader and provide day-to-day supervision to Support Workers under management direction
- Support the management team with operational training, feedback and Support Worker performance
- Commit to continuous quality improvement to ensure ongoing well-being for staff and guests
- Monitor guest safety and well-being including MRG and ROSH reports
- Ensure WHS documentation is completed in a timely manner
- In conjunction with Support Workers:
- Assist our guests to find suitable accommodation
- Assist guests to complete private rental applications and other documentation
- Ensure a continuous high level of cleanliness including cleaning bathrooms, floors, and kitchen daily, and changing bed linen
- Monitor food, care packs, and supplies, and replenish as necessary via our Distribution Centre
- Complete intake forms and other administration tasks as directed
- Update database and maintain records

Requirements
- minimum 2 years' experience
- current Working with Children Check
- DV Aware Certification or willingness to obtain
