Our Kenya program, founded in 2006, operates under the local brand Tupande. Close to 500 staff in our Kakamega headquarters support 1,747 field staff and serve more than 1 million farmers. In Nairobi, around 50 staff support global functions like procurement, recruitment, government relations, and communications.
Seeking a Logistics and MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) Coordinator with 2-3 years' experience in distribution and/or carbon markets and/or MRV to lead the distribution of biochar and manage the MRV program.
Minimum Requirements

As soon as possible
- Degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, Engineering, Agronomy, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in carbon markets, MRV, sustainability reporting, or environmental data management
- Familiarity with biochar carbon standards (Isometric, Puro.earth, EBC, IBI) or carbon credit methodologies strongly preferred
- Strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills
- Experience with data management platforms, spreadsheets, or environmental monitoring software
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity and traceability
Working Conditions

- Develop and maintain training materials for Asili field staff on correct biochar application methods and evidence collection requirements
- Deliver refresher training to Asili field teams at the start of each season
- Collect and consolidate farmer feedback from Asili channels
- Lead first-line grievance resolution and escalate unresolved issues to the Lead
