Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in social sciences, political science, sociology, peace and conflict studies, history, or another relevant field.
- Experience with qualitative and participatory research approaches, with demonstrated ability to work with, code, analyse, and interpret qualitative data.
- Knowledge of, or demonstrated interest in, areas relevant to Badael’s work, particularly peacebuilding, justice and reconciliation, inclusive governance, social cohesion, oral history, and memory.
- Ability to engage critically with academic and policy literature and connect theoretical and conceptual debates with field-based research and evidence.
- Ability to work collaboratively with programme teams, field researchers, external researchers, and partner organisations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
