Key Responsibilities
The Finance Manager plays a crucial role in offering strategic financial oversight across various funding streams and in facilitating budgeting processes in line with organizational needs. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager provides guidance on risk management, internal control systems, financial and grant compliance, and World Vision International financial policies. With a keen focus on inter-departmental coordination and overseeing the local partnering process, this role ensures that all financial aspects of donor proposals are of the highest quality. The Finance Manager also leads the preparation of the support cost budget and provides day-to-day leadership to the Finance team across WVSR offices.

Minimum Requirements
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, budget/cash flow monitoring and internal accounting controls.
- Solid knowledge of government grant regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to solve complex problems and to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Good working knowledge of computerized accounting systems, must be computer literate in Microsoft Office programs.
- Good oral/written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on a cross-cultural environment with a multi-national staff.
- Ability to travel within regionally and internationally

- Full Adherence to security protocols
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Working Conditions
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration, or a related field
- MBA in Finance, MSC in Finance/Accounting/Auditing preferred.
- ACCA, CIMA or CPA preferred.
- The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
