Key Responsibilities
Skills Required
- Assisting with reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, funding agreements, partnership agreements, memorandums of understanding and other corporate documents.
- Identifying and providing commercial solutions to problems.
- Reviewing, commenting and drafting commercial agreements with minimal supervision.
- Liaising with external legal professionals and other stakeholders as required.
- Supporting the team and organisation in managing legal risks and compliance, including maintaining records and ensuring appropriate documentation.
- Attending and supporting meetings, including taking notes or drafting follow-up actions as needed.
- Supporting teams across the organisation with legal queries and liaising with internal colleagues in a professional, respectful and timely manner
- Qualified solicitor, barrister, legal executive, or equivalent experience in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of UK legal systems and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools and legal research platforms.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively along with team working.
- Comfortable working independently on matters at short notice and in accordance with tight timeframes.
