You are a highly organised and proactive program management professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You bring demonstrated experience managing large and complex budgets, preferably within international development, government or donor-funded programs, and have a strong ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You are comfortable working with systems, reporting processes and governance requirements, you are equally confident analysing information, managing risk and ensuring accountability across multiple workstreams.
You are a relationship builder who enjoys working across teams and stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can engage effectively with government counterparts, investment managers, technical advisers and delivery partners, building trusted relationships and facilitating collaboration. Your sound judgement, initiative and professionalism enable you to respond flexibly to emerging priorities while maintaining a strong focus on results and service delivery.
Experience within the Australian Public Service and/or international development program will be highly regarded, as will exposure to climate change, resilience or broader development sectors in the Indo-Pacific. Above all, you are committed to inclusive and ethical development practice, with an understanding of Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), safeguarding and integrity principles. You are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to Australia's flagship climate change initiatives and help strengthen climate integration across the development portfolio.
This position is intended to be based in Canberra, Australia.

Joining Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Australian Government's flagship climate change initiatives, supporting the implementation of Australia's International Development Policy across the Indo-Pacific. In this role, you will have direct visibility over high-profile investments and the opportunity to influence climate integration across Australia's broader development portfolio.
