Senior Mechanical Engineer - Robotics (m/f/d)
Role Summary
Join Omegga as a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop innovative robotic subsystems for a mission-driven company in Munich, Germany.
Minimum Requirements
We're looking for a hands-on engineer to take full ownership of new robotic subsystems from first idea to production-ready hardware. You combine strong mechanical design skills with practical lab experience and a keen sense for manufacturability. Above all, you're someone who doesn't wait to be told what's next. You see what needs to happen, take initiative, and enjoy working openly in a fast-moving, international team that's growing together.
You take ownership end to end, hold yourself to a high standard, and focus on outcomes that matter for the customer. You communicate openly, give honest feedback, and build trust through your actions. You believe the best work happens in an environment where people support each other, share knowledge, and grow together.
Not ticking every box? That's okay. If this role excites you and you bring most of what we've described, we want to hear from you.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
- 3+ years experience in automation/robotics, with strong track record designing complex electromechanical systems, from prototype to production
- Hands-on mindset with a passion for building, testing, and troubleshooting real-world systems and solid CAD skills (e.g. SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion)
- Proven experience of optimizing designs in compact electromechanical systems, environmental sealing, and design for manufacturing
- Experience with manufacturing, supplier collaboration, and design for scalable production
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset. You naturally identify what needs to happen next, collaborate openly in an international team, and are eager to grow alongside it
