Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Mitigation Project Manager, you will assist our Project Managers with:
This position is primarily office-based, but you will occasionally visit job sites to learn the field side of mitigation, including water extraction, demolition, drying equipment, moisture monitoring, documentation, and customer communication.
What You'll Learn
Our goal is to teach you the entire mitigation process, including:
- Preparing and maintaining dry logs and Photos
- Helping ensure jobs are properly set up in our systems
- Monitoring active mitigation jobs and project dashboards
- Reviewing job documentation to ensure required photos, notes, readings, and documents are uploaded
- Helping obtain signed work authorizations and other required customer documents
- Communicating with homeowners regarding scheduling and project updates
- Assisting with communication between technicians, Project Managers, insurance representatives, and other departments
- Working with the estimating/scoping team to ensure they have the documentation needed to prepare mitigation estimates
- Assisting with invoices and payment collection
- Following up on outstanding documents, payments, and project requirements
- Participating in project and production meetings
- Identifying jobs that are missing information or falling behind and bringing them to the Project Manager's attention
- Providing additional operational and administrative support as needed
- Water damage restoration workflows
