Role Summary
Join Cherry Hill Free Clinic as an X-Ray Technician in Germantown, TN, responsible for conducting radiology procedures and assisting with patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Patient intake, communication, safety, imaging procedures, equipment maintenance, documentation, and ongoing professional development.
- Greet and communicate effectively with patients, providing directions and follow-up
- Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information
- Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision
- Prepare patients for radiologic exams, ensuring safety and proper technique
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, perform quality control, and report malfunctions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Stay current on diagnostic imaging knowledge and maintain licensure and certification
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus
