About the Organisation

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with severe and persistent mental illness by joining the Assertive Community Outreach Service (ACOS) within Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol and Drug Services (MHJHADS). Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, staff supervision and clinical oversight while delivering assertive, recovery-focused care to consumers in community settings across the ACT. Based at the City Community Health Centre, this role offers a dynamic mix of outreach and clinical practice, supporting people who experience complex mental health challenges, significant functional impairment and barriers to engaging with services. If you are a motivated clinician who values collaboration, innovation and person-centred care, this is an opportunity to contribute to a service that is committed to improving outcomes for individuals, families and the wider community. This is a shift-working position requiring participation in a full rotating roster across extended service hours, 8:30am to 9:00pm, seven days a week.
