About the Organisation
A fast-growing, Berlin-based enterprise AI platform startup is looking for a Platform Engineer to help build and maintain the backbone of their multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure. Founded in 2023 and backed by notable investors, the company serves thousands of enterprise customers and is scaling rapidly. You'll be a critical hire on a small, high-calibre team, working on-site in Berlin.
This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security — partnering closely with both internal Product Engineers and external customer IT teams to enable reliable, compliant, and scalable AI deployments across diverse cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
- Deploy and maintain the platform across multiple customer cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, Azure, and OpenShift
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep)
- Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs
- Ensure security and compliance standards are upheld across all cloud environments
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to support the rollout of new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues promptly
- Document deployment processes and maintain runbooks for different customer environments
Minimum Requirements
- Experience with infrastructure cost optimisation and observability tooling
- Familiarity with Bicep for Azure infrastructure automation
- Background working with enterprise customers or in a customer-facing infrastructure capacity
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Berlin, Germany. Candidates must be able to work from the Berlin office.
