About the Organisation
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in MEAL/M&E, data management or programme monitoring, preferably within livelihoods, climate adaptation, market systems, environmental protection, social cohesion or related humanitarian/development programmes.Moreover, we also expect the following.
In this position, you are expected to demonstrate DRC’s five core competencies:
- Required*
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Information Management, Data Science or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis and reporting.
- Experience using digital data collection platforms, particularly KoboToolbox/ODK.
- Experience in data cleaning, validation, quality assurance and database management.
- Good proficiency in PowerBi, Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
- Experience developing and managing indicator tracking tools and analyzing programme performance data.
- Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently in remote/field-based settings and undertake frequent travel.
- Proficiency in English both written and spoken

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills
- Desirable*
- Post graduate diploma in monitoring and evaluation.
- Knowledge of languages spoken in the project implementation areas.
- Experience working with local partners, informal workers or local government
