Role Summary
Join ChartedNurse as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Palestine, TX, providing comprehensive family medicine care to diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for pediatric and adult patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
- Perform wellness exams, preventive screenings, and routine follow-up visits
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
Minimum Requirements
Schedule and Compensation
- Current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- Previous Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to manage patients across a wide range of ages and medical conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full-time outpatient schedule
