Orbis runs dedicated country programs in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin America; develops and implements innovative training and technology, including an award-winning telemedicine and e-learning platform, Cybersight; and operates the world’s first and only Flying Eye Hospital, a fully accredited ophthalmic teaching hospital on board an MD-10 aircraft.
The Telehealth team is responsible for technology support of Orbis programs, which includes the telemedicine and online learning platform, Cybersight. The team focuses on integrating Cybersight with Orbis programs across the world and work together to expand Orbis’s clinical, educational and technology initiatives while developing long-term relationships with physicians, telehealth-partnering hospitals, educators, and IT & communications specialists. The team also closely monitors trends and new innovations in the healthcare technology and public health space that should be nurtured in order to revolutionize practice in the low-resource settings we serve.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years working in product management, digital product delivery, business analysis, or a similar role in an enterprise / NGO / healthcare setting
- Experience managing or supporting multiple digital products or platforms
- Experience gathering and prioritizing product requirements from diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working closely with software development teams through planning, testing, and release cycles
- Experience with web-based and mobile-responsive SaaS applications
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Preferred: Experience in digital health, global health, or healthcare technology
- Preferred: Experience working in low- to middle-income country contexts
- Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-based application environments such as AWS and Cloudflare
- Preferred: Experience with AI-enabled products or clinical decision support / screening tools
- Preferred: Experience working in Agile product development environments
