Minimum Requirements
Experience within a startup, scale-up or modern technology environment would be particularly valuable, as would experience with Postgres/SQL, row-level security, data visualisation, reporting or workflow automation.
We’re looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with solid fundamentals who is comfortable learning new tools and making pragmatic technology choices based on the problem being solved.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who enjoys building things that make a difference, an engineer who can take an idea or prototype, understand the problem behind it and turn it into technology the business can rely on.
- Demonstrable in-depth professional software engineering experience, ideally within a Full Stack role.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern web development.
- Hands-on experience with React/Next.js and Node.js.
- Experience building and deploying applications using platforms such as Vercel, Supabase, Firebase or equivalent modern technologies.
- Experience owning applications beyond the initial build – including deployment, maintenance, monitoring and ongoing improvement.
- Comfortable integrating AI/LLM services into applications and using modern AI tooling as part of your development workflow.
- Experience implementing authentication and identity management, such as OAuth/OIDC, SAML or SSO.
- A good understanding of application security and how to appropriately handle sensitive business and user data.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, with an appreciation for maintainable code, testing and good development practices.
- Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders and turning their requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Able to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and take ownership of the applications you build.
