Information Manager - Southeast Asia (national staff)

About the Organisation
Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organization (INSO) is an international NGO that supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs with a range of free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations, and training. INSO provides daily support to more than 1,500 NGOs operating in 24 of the world’s most insecure countries. INSO is registered in the Netherlands, with its headquarters located in The Hague, a city renowned for its international focus on peace and justice.
Minimum Requirements
- Essential*
- 5+ years of experience in data management, data visualisation, or information management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Experience with Power BI and DAX, or similar BI software (such as Tableau).
- Proficiency in database management using SQL.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R
- Fluency in English and Thai both written and verbal.
- Right to work in Thailand
- Basic knowledge in GIS software and systems (e.g. using QGIS or ArcGIS).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Nice to have*
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, GIS, or relevant field.
- Experience working with humanitarian organisations, particularly NGOs operating in complex contexts.
- Knowledge of or previous professional experience in Myanmar.
- Experience delivering training or capacity building related to data or information management tools.
