Senior Research Consultant
Role Summary
Join Neudata as a Senior Research Consultant in London, focusing on consulting projects and client management. Strong experience in strategy and analytics is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Own consulting engagements from kick-off through delivery, managing scope, timelines and quality, and acting as the day-to-day engagement lead for client communication and expectations
- Structure project workstreams and personally produce the underlying analysis and written deliverables across data product strategy, pricing, go-to-market planning and buyer validation
- Lead client meetings, working sessions and delivery readouts, fielding detailed questions from senior client stakeholders directly and translating complex data, market and technical input into clear, actionable recommendations
- Plan and manage multiple concurrent engagements against agreed timelines and scope, proactively identifying and managing risks, dependencies and resourcing needs
- Draw on the wider Research team for specialist input where useful, while owning the core deliverable and client-facing work end to end
- Work closely with the Consulting practice on scoping, pricing input and follow-on opportunities, while reporting day to day within Research
- Develop deep expertise in data monetisation, external data markets and buyer expectations, and contribute to internal frameworks, templates and client-facing insight
Minimum Requirements
- Proven, relevant experience in consulting, strategy, alternative data, analytics or a related advisory role - we're open on level of experience, from a few years' track record through to seasoned practitioners
- Demonstrated project management experience, ideally leading complete engagements rather than individual workstreams
- A confident, polished, client-facing operator, comfortable presenting to and fielding scrutiny from senior stakeholders independently
- Strong written skills and a track record of personally producing, not just reviewing, high-quality client deliverables
- An independent working style, with a track record of owning outcomes and supporting the wider team
- Knowledge of data products, data strategy or data monetisation concepts
