Role Summary
Join MENTOR Initiative as a Roving WASH Co-ordinator in Venezuela, leading essential water, sanitation, and hygiene programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the organisation's values, policies, safeguarding principles and Code of Conduct.
- Ensure all WASH activities are implemented according to humanitarian principles and quality standards.
- Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by the Country Director or Programme Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- The right to live and work in Venezuela.
- An educational background in water engineering, environmental engineering, WASH or a related field.
- Minimum two years professional experience in the implementation and management of WASH programmes, preferably with NGOs, UN agencies or humanitarian organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in community WASH activities, including safe water supply, sanitation, hygiene promotion and distribution of WASH kits.
- Proven experience in the rehabilitation and/or construction of WASH infrastructure, including water supply and sanitation systems in health facilities.
- Strong skills in project management, coordination with key stakeholders, reporting and team supervision.
- Must be fluent in Spanish whilst knowledge of English is an advantage.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have the right to live and work in Venezuela, with a background in WASH sectors and relevant experience.
