Our Kenya program, founded in 2006, operates under the local brand Tupande. Close to 500 staff in our Kakamega headquarters support 1,747 field staff and serve more than 1 million farmers. In Nairobi, around 50 staff support global functions like procurement, recruitment, government relations, and communications.
Operate and maintain the boiler systems that provide steam and hot water required for processing

- Monitor boiler systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on boiler systems.
- Diagnose and repair boiler system issues.
- Conduct safety tests and system checks to ensure reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Manage fuel inventory and other consumables necessary for boiler operation.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the boiler system.
- Follow all Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) requirements in the shift.
- Propose the best ways to reduce energy consumption in the boiler.
Minimum Requirements

- Minimum academic Qualification: a certificate in boiler operation or Mechanical or electrical engineering will be needed.
- Work Experience: 2+ years of working experience operating boilers
