Role Summary

Join Ghiras Al-Nahda as a Media Assistant (Photographer) to document and cover humanitarian activities through photography and video.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the media department in implementing field documentation activities and media coverage of projects and events, through photography and video, and participating in preparing visual materials that reflect the humanitarian impact of the work of the Ghiras Al Nahda Organization, ensuring the quality of the content and its consistency with the organization’s visual identity and donor guidelines.
  • Field Documentation:
  • Photograph field activities and projects accurately and professionally.
  • Produce visual materials (photos and videos) that highlight the humanitarian impact of beneficiaries.
  • Archiving and organizing media materials for easy reference.
  • Coordination and Follow-up:
  • Coordinate with the Media Coordinator and the field team to determine filming priorities and schedules.
  • Participate in preparing monthly project documentation reports.
  • Contribute to writing titles or simple descriptions for photos and videos.
  • Quality and Commitment:
  • Ensure that outputs comply with the visual identity and technical guidelines of donors.
  • Adhere to beneficiary protection and privacy policies during filming operations.
  • Contribute to developing working methods and improving the quality of media documentation.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in field photography and editing.
  • Proficiency in using professional cameras and basic editing software (Photoshop / Lightroom / Premiere).
  • Ability to travel in the field and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a high sense of teamwork.
  • Attention to detail and organization in work.
  • Commitment to deadlines and adherence to field work instructions.
  • A strong sense of humanity when dealing with beneficiaries.
  • Creativity and flexibility in providing solutions during field work.
