Clinical Implementation Manager (m/f/d)
Role Summary
Join Mindpeak as a Clinical Implementation Manager in Hamburg, Germany, to lead AI-driven cancer diagnostics projects and improve patient outcomes.
About the Organisation
Mindpeak is building cutting-edge AI technology to transform cancer diagnostics for the better. Our AI-powered software is already in clinical use across more than 25 countries, helping pathologists assess tumour tissue faster, more accurately, and more consistently. Every year, tens of thousands of cancer patients already benefit from quicker and more accurate diagnoses enabled by our technology.
Our mission is to scale this impact worldwide and help make personalised, effective cancer treatment accessible to every patient no matter where they are. By combining state-of-the-art AI with real-world clinical impact, we’re working toward a future where every cancer patient gets the best possible diagnosis and, ultimately, the best possible care.
- Our vision is personalized, effective cancer treatment for every patient.
- Build foundational AI systems that power both clinical cancer diagnostics and data-driven drug development, and actively shape the future of personalized medicine.
- An open, creative environment with flat hierarchies and fast decisions.
- A leadership team that invests in continuous development.
- A centrally located Hamburg office with a spectacular view over the harbor.
Minimum Requirements
- A degree in biology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, medicine, or a related field.
- 3+ years leading projects with external customers — clinical or diagnostic implementation, digital pathology, medical device or laboratory rollout, health IT deployment, or comparable delivery work.
- Proven ability to build a realistic project plan and drive it to a date, updating it responsibly and transparently as things change.
- Proven ability to direct people inside and outside the company.
- Technically confident: able to discuss interfaces, integrations and data credibly with ML engineers and IT staff, instruct them clearly, and translate between them and the customer.
- Able to hold a room with a laboratory director, a pathologist and an IT lead, and keep all three aligned.
- Full professional proficiency in English. German is not required.
- Based in Hamburg, or willing to relocate, and working on-site with the team.
- Willing to travel to customer sites internationally — occasional trips, typically a few times a year, focus on US customers.
- Comfortable with the occasional late-afternoon or early-evening call to overlap with customers in other time zones.
- Experience in pathology, diagnostics or laboratory environments, or a background in the natural sciences.
- If you have not worked in pathology: evidence that you have become competent in an unfamiliar technical domain before.
- Experience working within a quality management system, or delivering software into a regulated clinical setting.
- Commercial instinct.
