The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. - Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems or systems of systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware test, validation, electrical test, battery testing, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with electrical laboratory equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, DMMs, DAQs, battery cyclers, or similar instrumentation.
- Experience analyzing engineering test data and communicating technical conclusions.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical hardware, test equipment, instrumentation, or automated test systems.
- Experience documenting test procedures, results, failures, and engineering findings.
- Experience testing lithium-ion battery packs, battery modules, cells, or battery management systems.
- Experience with PCBA level functional, electrical, characterization, or environmental testing.
- Understanding of battery performance parameters including capacity, DCIR, SOC, cell balancing, thermal behavior, and protection functions.
- Experience with environmental testing including thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, vibration, shock, or reliability testing.
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience performing structured root cause analysis on hardware or test system failures.
- Experience working in aerospace, automotive, energy storage, or other high-reliability hardware environments.
