Job Description: The Dietitian-Degree provides patient care by attending to the
nutritional needs of inpatients and ambulatory patients through regular and
therapeutic diets. This employee acts as a consultant for medical staff
regarding nutritional matters. This employee also provides assistance to the
Food Service Managers as well as the employees in the Food and Nutrition
Services department regarding clinical client related concerns. "Preference for
this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and
conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (BSc(Nutr))
- Dietetic Internship certificate
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Excellent assessment, diagnostic and intervention skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to prioritize work
- Demonstrate sound judgment in assessing and analyzing nutritional care plans
- Ability to be proactive and creative in decision making
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate with, and deal effectively with co-workers
- Demonstrated knowledge in educational resource development.
