  • Lead, coach and mentor Overseers to achieve operational outcomes
  • Plan and oversee plumbing maintenance across the correctional complex
  • Train and develop inmates in practical trade skills and work readiness
  • Promote a safe, professional and quality-focused workplace
  • Manage resources, budgets and workflows for efficient service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Corrective Services NSW policies
  • Support offender rehabilitation through the Work Readiness Program

Minimum Requirements

We're looking for a confident and capable leader who can motivate others while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

  • Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or willingness to obtain within timeframe set out by CSNSW
  • Current driver licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role
  • Relevant trade qualifications: minimum NSW Plumbing Contractor license, NSW Plumbing Supervisor Certificate and proven post trade experience
  • Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description
  • Must be willing and able to; work within an after-hours on-call roster, work overtime, work flexibly across trades to meet operational needs
