Lead Executive Assistant
Role Summary
Join DeepL as an Executive Assistant to the CFO and enhance operational excellence within the finance team in London.
About the Organisation
We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to become a trusted partner to our Chief Financial Officer while supporting the wider Finance leadership team.
This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role. At least 30% of your time will be dedicated to partnering directly with the CFO, ensuring they can focus on the highest-value priorities. The remainder of your role will focus on driving operational excellence across the Finance organisation, coordinating strategic initiatives and helping turn discussions into execution.
You'll bring structure to complexity, connect teams across the business and ensure priorities continue to move forward. Acting as the operational backbone of the Finance leadership team, you'll combine exceptional organisation with sound judgement, discretion and a proactive approach to problem solving.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of AI, voice and language technology while partnering closely with one of our executive leaders.
Key Responsibilities
As the Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to our CFO, you'll play a key role in enabling both the CFO and the wider Finance leadership team to operate at their best. While you'll provide exceptional executive support, you'll also help drive operational excellence, coordinate strategic priorities and bring structure to a fast-moving environment.
You'll be someone who naturally anticipates what's needed next, keeps priorities moving and builds strong relationships across the business.
Minimum Requirements
- Significant experience supporting senior executives within a fast-paced, international organisation.
- Strong interest in AI tooling, automation, and digital innovation, with a willingness to continuously learn and experiment with new technologies.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly as business needs change.
- Strong project coordination skills and the ability to keep multiple workstreams moving simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence working alongside senior leaders and stakeholders across the business.
