Small businesses are the backbone of the economy, but the systems they rely on for payments are slow, manual and were never built for them. Apron is fixing that. We digitise and simplify how SMBs manage cash flow: capturing invoices, issuing expense cards, and moving money in one place.
Founded in 2021, we've grown to ~100 people across the UK, Germany, Spain and raised $50M, backed by Index Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Zinal Grow and Tony Fadell.
Our next phase of growth isn’t incremental. We’re building a category-defining, global fintech business with a clear path to significant revenue scale and international expansion. This phase requires not just a great product but a world-class engineering team.
