About the Organisation
We are seeking Live Lesson Moderators to support our teachers during livestreamed lessons. Moderators play a key role in ensuring lessons run smoothly by responding to student questions, clarifying educational content, and managing general queries.
This is a fully remote role, ideal for current university students, those on a gap year, or recent graduates who enjoy working with students in real time and contributing to high-quality online education. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with evening availability required to support live lessons.
- Grade A*/A at A-Level in Maths.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly in fast-paced, live environments.
- Calm, responsible, and confident in enforcing behavioural guidelines when required.
- Comfortable multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
- Available to work 3–5 days per week, with flexibility to cover evening lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in the live chat of livestreamed Maths lessons to provide subject-related responses to student questions as well as adherence to MyEdSpace codes of conduct.
- Providing real-time support to teachers to help lessons run smoothly.
- Assisting students with basic technical or access issues during live sessions.
- Min number of sessions a week: 3 x 1 hr sessions
Requirements
- Grade A*/A at A-Level in Maths
